Ofsted Inspection Report - December 2014

This Ofsted report is an extremely positive one, grading the school as 'Good' in all areas of provision. It recognises the high quality education our school provides and emphasises:

  • we are a well-led school
  • we have an environment where children feel safe and secure
  • our pupils have very positive attitudes to learning and behave well
  • good teaching and learning leads to achievement that is significantly higher than most schools
  • the early years provision is effective in giving children a good start
  • we provide good support for disadvantaged pupils and those with a special educational need
  • there is a strong partnership between home and school.

The report reflects the hard work and dedication of all involved in the work of the school.  It recognises Town Green as a school committed to developing its children not only academically but through their personal and social skills.  It is a school where everyone works together to motivate its children to create enthusiastic and lifelong learners.

Please read the whole of our Ofsted report, there is so much to be proud of for our children and our school.
